Every student has a place in God's story

At K1, we want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Jesus and to equip them to live out the story God is writing in and through their lives.

We understand that the middle school and high school years are a time when students need to know they to belong and have someone to walk alongside them as they navigate their personal journeys.

K1 Students aims to provide warm, relaxed environments where students can connect with one another and with committed adult leaders who want to support them in their journeys as they grow into the image of Jesus.

At K1, we also believe that parents are the most important influence in the life of a student and that it is our responsibility to partner with and equip parents -- not replace them -- as they help their students navigate their personal journeys.

Cross Training | Sundays | 9:00am

Each Sunday morning students have an opportunity in an open group format to discuss topics relevant to life in the context of today's student culture. This setting provides a safe environment for students to wrestle with their questions, face their doubts, and seek to understand what it means to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of God in the American student culture of today.

Life Together | Sundays | 6:00-7:30pm

Each week students gather together for a mixture of large and small group activities. The flow of each evening includes a game, worship through singing, and biblically-sound, student-relevant teaching before transitioning to small group discussion time. Small groups are the backbone of K1 Students. We orient everything we do around the relationships and connections that small group life cultivates. Our groups are based on age and gender and are led by committed adult leaders who foster warm, relaxed, and safe environments where students can thrive together.
