At K1, you'll be welcomed into warm, relaxed, and authentic environments by people excited to get to know you. We are a church made up of different backgrounds, lifestyles, and cultures, and we celebrate the unique way God has created each of us.
What can I expect from the service?
Each worship service includes engaging worship, Bible-based teaching, and prayer. We intentionally pray over every service, and our goal is to provide space for each person to commune with God and each other. You can listen to past messages here if you would like to get a glimpse into the service.
How long will the service last?
Sunday morning worship services typically last 75 minutes.
What should I wear?
Come as you are comfortable! You never need to dress up physically or spiritually in order to join us. Whether you prefer jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you will find people dressed just like you!
Will my child attend the service with me?
You can choose what works best for your family. While people of all ages are invited to attend our worship services, K1 Kids offers a fun, safe, and engaging environment for your kids (birth - 6th grade) during the worship service. If your child is in 7th grade or older, he or she will join you in the worship service in the sanctuary.
Please note that on the first Sunday of each month, all children ages 4 and up participate in family worship in the sanctuary and therefore only nursery (birth - 3 years) is available during the service.
How do I know my child will be safe with K1 Kids?
The safety and security of your children is our top priority. We want you to experience the worship service with the peace of mind that your child is being led in worship by trained, caring adults in a safe, secure, and engaging environment!
All of our friendly, passionate K1 Kids volunteers have been screened with a full background check and have been trained for ministry with children.
Additionally, our K1 Kids area is completely secure at all times on Sunday morning. When you bring your child(ren) to the K1 Kids area they will be checked-in to our security system and you will be given a check-in receipt. As a security measure, this receipt must be presented in order for a child to be released to an adult at any point during or after the service. Children will never be released to an adult without a check-in receipt.
